He sits alone
in his room
dreaming
of being more
he dreams of times
that have never existed
outside of a book
he closes his eyes
and he says
'I want to be a hero'

She sits alone
thinking about everything
wishing
she had someone
to save the day
someone that doesn't exist
inside her world
she closes her eyes
and she says
'I need a hero'

They sit alone
within sight of
each other
wishing for something
that will never be
wanting what is just
out of reach
they close their eyes
and they say
'I want to be...'
'I need...'
a Hero

Lovin the ending.

It takes the prospective of two people wanting what they cant have in my opinion. I lieks .

makes you hurt. But I am too weak to be your cure."

One wants to be what the other needs. If they'd just talk, they'd both get what they want. I like it. Very good. :+fav: definately!

Wanting to be a hero is not a bad thing. People just want to be needed by someone, and some people say "I need a hero" because they feel alone and hurt. They want someone to "save the day" and stop the hurt.

This brings all new meaning to the phrase, "So close, yet so far."
